A Short Version of My Story
Why I created Renaissance Hub and why it matters to me.
My name is Diego Santiago Alarcon.
I am a scientist, educator, creator, and father. For much of my life, I loved many things deeply: biology, physics, chemistry, computing, spirituality, writing, ideas. Yet for years, I also felt the pressure to simplify myself, to choose one label, one path, one acceptable version of who I was supposed to be.
That tension stayed with me for a long time.
Then life, fatherhood, study, faith, and experience began to teach me something more honest: curiosity is not a weakness to outgrow. It is one of the ways we are called into fuller life. But curiosity alone is not enough. It must be gathered, disciplined, and offered in service.
Renaissance Hub was born from that realization.
This is the place where I help others bring together breadth and depth, wonder and responsibility, the inner child and the adult vocation. A place where science meets humanity. Where ideas are allowed to connect. Where, perhaps, you can finally breathe and begin to move with direction.
Wherever you are on your journey — overwhelmed, curious, hopeful, uncertain — I’m grateful that you’re here.

Una versión corta de mi historia
Por qué creé Renaissance Hub y por qué es importante para mí.
Mi nombre es Diego Santiago Alarcon.
Soy científico, educador, creador y padre. Durante gran parte de mi vida he amado profundamente muchas cosas: biología, física, química, computación, espiritualidad, escritura, ideas. Y, sin embargo, durante años también sentí la presión de simplificarme: elegir una sola etiqueta, un solo camino, una sola versión aceptable de quien se suponía que debía ser.
Esa tensión me acompañó durante mucho tiempo.
Después, la vida, la paternidad, el estudio, la fe y la experiencia comenzaron a enseñarme algo más honesto: la curiosidad no es una debilidad que debamos superar. Es una de las formas en que somos llamados a una vida más plena. Ahora bien, la curiosidad por sí sola no basta. Hay que reunirla, disciplinarla y ponerla al servicio.
Renaissance Hub nació de esa realización.
Este es el lugar donde ayudo a otros a reunir amplitud y profundidad, asombro y responsabilidad, el niño interior y la vocación adulta. Un lugar donde la ciencia se encuentra con la humanidad. Donde las ideas pueden conectarse. Donde, quizá, por fin puedas respirar, y empezar a avanzar con dirección.
