The problem (the felt one, not the abstract one)
You were good at one thing, so the world asked you to be good at only that thing. The deeper you went, the narrower it got — until curiosity started to feel like a luxury you couldn’t afford.
I know the feeling from the inside. I’ve spent twenty years between two fields that aren’t supposed to touch: disease ecology and quantum biology. The border between them is where my best work has come from. That border is what I want to teach you to walk.
The journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, I've focused on staying true to my values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
The method (Ground · Spark · Bridge · Launch)
Not a philosophy. A practiced sequence a curious three-year-old and a peer-reviewed scientist happen to share.
• Ground — honor what’s already yours: your questions, your interests, the trails you keep returning to.
• Spark — small, playful experiments across unfamiliar fields, to re-teach yourself wonder.
• Bridge — move between disciplines on purpose, and notice the echoes.
• Launch — curiosity becomes creation. You pick one project and move it into the world.
Why I built this
I became a father, and I watched my son treat curiosity as a first language — before fear, before grades, before anyone told him what he was supposed to be. It changed how I see my own work, and my faith in why the work matters. Renaissance Hub is my attempt to give that first language back to the rest of us.

El problema (el que se siente)
Eras bueno en una cosa, así que el mundo te pidió que fueras bueno solo en esa cosa. Cuanto más profundo llegabas, más estrecho se volvía — hasta que la curiosidad empezó a sentirse como un lujo que no podías permitirte.
Conozco esa sensación desde adentro. He pasado veinte años entre dos campos que no deberían tocarse: la ecología de enfermedades y la biología cuántica. La frontera entre ellos es donde ha surgido mi mejor trabajo. Esa frontera es la que quiero enseñarte a caminar.

El método (La Base · La Chispa · El Puente · El Lanzamiento)
No es una filosofía. Es una secuencia practicada que comparten un niño curioso de tres años y un científico revisado por pares.
• La Base — honra lo que ya es tuyo: tus preguntas, tus intereses, los senderos a los que siempre vuelves.
• La Chispa — pequeños experimentos, jugando, en campos desconocidos, para volver a enseñarte el asombro.
• El Puente — muévete entre disciplinas a propósito, y nota los ecos.
• El Lanzamiento — la curiosidad se vuelve creación. Eliges un proyecto y lo llevas al mundo.
Por qué construí esto
Me convertí en padre, y vi a mi hijo tratar la curiosidad como una primera lengua — antes del miedo, antes de las calificaciones, antes de que alguien le dijera lo que se suponía que debía ser. Cambió la manera en que veo mi propio trabajo, y mi fe en por qué ese trabajo importa. Renaissance Hub es mi intento de devolvernos esa primera lengua.
